Clear Tax Capital Gains Ad Film

This project was created as part of the ClearTax Capital Gains campaign, visualizing the idea of “digging up your losses and carrying them forward.” The film combines cinematic live-action with AI-driven visuals, sound, and animation to deliver a bold and memorable narrative.

Concept
 

I wanted to show the metaphor of unearthing capital gains in a dramatic, emotional way—turning a financial concept into a cinematic moment that connects with the audience.

Tools & Workflow
 

  • ChatGPT – Used for initial image ideation and mood exploration.

  • Midjourney - Used for creating static frames for the film

  • Kling & Runway ML – Brought AI-generated imagery to life with smooth, stylized animations.

  • Google Veo – Used for physics-based effects, particularly the digging sequences, to add realism.

  • Premiere Pro & After Effects – For editing, compositing, and final polish.

  • ElevenLabs - Used this for creating voice over for the film

  • Sound Design – Edited and added sound effects in post to heighten the impact of rain, digging, and dramatic tension.

Clear Tax Ai Film - Initial 3D animation

This film introduced ClearTax AI, India’s first agentic AI-powered tax filing platform. The creative idea was to show many Pinchys working together—a visual metaphor for how AI can handle complex tasks collectively, making filing effortless for the user.

Concept
 

We used the brand’s 3D mascot, Pinchy, not just as a single character but as a team of workers. Each Pinchy represented the power of ClearTax AI working in sync to simplify tax filing. Motion graphics were added to balance character storytelling with clear product communication.
